This presentation will focus on TFYHI’s partnership with child welfare agencies. We developed a sample organizational policy and supported organizations with trainings and interventions to improve optimal health for youth in care. We will be joined by panelists from two of our partner agencies, Trel’s Home for Children and Youth in View.

Attendees will learn about TFYHI’s multidisciplinary learning community comprised of young adults with lived experience in foster care, caregivers, sexual health educators, child welfare professionals, and researchers. Dr. Ball will share insights from thematic analysis of youth, caregiver, and professional stakeholder perspectives and their applications to intervention development to support the health of youth in care.
